35 Fun Things You Can Do Before Summer Ends

About this time of year -the middle of summer- I realize that summer is passing all too quickly and that I still have lots of things I want to do that are so much better done in the summer!

I have a list and need to get up to speed with it! In case you don’t have a list or are looking for some other options….or have really bored kids, I’ve compiled this list of 35 Fun Things You Can Do Before Summer Ends!

Try to do at least 5 of them before the summer is OVER!

  1. Go to a free outdoor concert
  2. Take a picnic to the nearest lake or beach
  3. Turn off the electronics & Get outside
  4. Do some star & moon gazing
  5. Ride a bicycle
  6. Pick some wildflowers for your table
  7. Play mini golf
  8. Blow bubbles
  9. Take a spur of the moment road trip
  10. Play out in the rain
  11. Read an inspirational book
  12. Visit a vineyard
  13. Dine al fresco
  14. Go to a drive-in movie
  15. Take a nap in a hammock
  16. Go kayaking, canoeing or tubing
  17. Visit a place you’ve never been to
  18. Watch fireflies, preferably with someone under 5
  19. Have a water gun or water balloon fight
  20. Watch the sunset/sunrise with your best friend
  21. Play in the sprinkler
  22. Feed the ducks
  23. Lay on the grass and watch the cloud shapes rolling by
  24. Press some flowers in some books
  25. Watch fireworks
  26. Paint your toenails a shocking color
  27. Try a new hairstyle
  28. Treat yourself to some chandelier earrings
  29. Have an outdoor tea party
  30. Visit a garden with water fountains
  31. Make your own ice cream or sorbet
  32. Enjoy a fresh fruit salad
