Holiday Survival: Don’t Let “THIS” Intimidate You!

Thanksgiving is just two weeks away! You knew that, didn’t you?!

It just sounds so….CLOSE all of a sudden, doesn’t it?!

Take a deep breath….let it out…..and know that with a little planning ahead there is no reason to stress about all those details you still need to take care of!

Today, I thought I’d share a few of the things I do to make my table beautiful which makes my guests feel special. I hope you find the ideas below helpful!

For me, setting a beautiful table is more fun than creating the menu & cooking the meal! However, many women tell me that setting a beautiful table is their least favorite part…..you know why? It intimidates them…..because they feel it won’t look “perfect” or because their choice of décor doesn’t “look like the magazines”…..or they don’t see themselves as “creative”!

Do you ever feel that way?

Here’s what I have to say about it…… Forget about “perfect”! Don’t compare! Use what you have whether or not it looks like the magazines! Use magazines, Pinterest, etc. for inspiration….to get your creative juices flowing….for ideas…and then DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! Don’t overthink it & Don’t overcomplicate it! ENJOY the process of creating a table that is warm & welcoming & something that makes your guests feel special!
