Remember to “set the stage” for your summer entertaining.

Good food is important but it is only one element of a gathering.

Just as important is the visual feast!

That would be the fun, beauty and/or elegance of a thoughtfully set table and buffet area. This part of entertaining need not intimidate you. It’s really a pretty simple process. Ladies, think of it as getting dressed for a special occasion.

First, the proper undergarments…for the table that would be your table linens, preferably layered. Next, that special outfit…for the table that would be your dishes, napkins & flatware. The next step, hair & makeup….for the table that’s your centerpiece(s), candles, placecards and/or favors. The last step…the perfect complimentary jewelry pieces…for the table this would be those extra little embellishments such as table confetti, beaded garlands, crystals, rose petals, whatever is appropriate for the occasion!

Now, how could you possibly entertain with a naked table?!
