Florals, Bunnies and Pink Chicks Easter Tablescape
Happy Spring!!!
Don’t you just LOVE this time of year!
There’s new life everywhere! Birds are singing, buds are blooming, the days here in central PA are getting warmer and it’s still light out at 6:30 in the evening! YAY!
I had so much fun putting this tablescape together the other day! It’s been awhile since I’ve set my round breakfast table with a pretty tablescape for more than just my prince & I!
I started out by rounding up several of my spring favorites and laying them out on my dining room table to get a good look at what I had and what items spoke to me!
TIP: Use what you have, Use what you love!
The beautiful April Cornell floral table linens that I purchased last year just make my heart smile! They are so vibrant, just gorgeous! Of course, I had to start with those. Aren’t they gorgeous!!
TIP: I always iron my table linens before I use them. I’m not going for perfection here, but I don’t like to see the fold lines and big wrinkles when I step back to view my masterpiece!
The next selection was the place settings. I chose rattan chargers, my aqua and rose floral dinner plates and the adorable little bunny luncheon plates I found at a grocery store a few years ago.
TIP: Don’t be afraid to mix patterns!
I decided to use my “intentionally mis-matched” vintage silver flatware. I’ve collected these pieces over several years and I just love using beautiful utensils with a history! Antiquing is one of my favorite fun things to do! I’ve picked up a few forks here, a few spoons there… the search for lovely pieces is exciting to me!
Next…. Pink linen napkins, big fluffy rose napkin rings and vintage pink glass tumblers.
Now, this table was beginning to come to life! Ready for the centerpiece details…. The bunnies and pink chicks!
I included the hand painted egg I did several years ago….. thinking I need to do some more of those!
Of course, I had to include some chocolate treats in these adorable little cupcake cups (from HomeGoods) for my Lovebugs! They LOVE Gigi’s chocolate treats!
Voila! I hope you’ve enjoyed this pretty tablescape and most of all I hope it inspired YOU to create some beauty of your own!
This week of Easter is especially reflective for me as I celebrate the Resurrection of my Savior, Jesus Christ! I pray you find peace and comfort and hope in that as well!
Wishing you and yours a most beautiful and blessed Easter!
xoxo
