This week I’m sharing another favorite … I think I did tell you last week that everything on my walls I love, so I guess they’re all “favorites”!

This oil on canvas is a handpainted reproduction of the original by artist Alexi (who has some beautiful floral still lifes here).

It is titled Roses and the Red Chair .

It is quite a vibrant piece…unlike most art I’m drawn to…I had it in my shop for quite some time, I had selected it because I liked it so much. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t snatched up right away. After a few months, I brought it home…and found the perfect spot for it…where it remains today! It’s a bright and cheery addition to our family room…putting a smile on our faces almost everyday!

Style tip: When purchasing a painted canvas look for one that has the painting extended onto the wrapped edges…that way you won’t need to frame it if you don’t want to!
