It’s Thursday…and I’ve got tabletop pics to share….that must mean it is Tablescape Thursday and we get to visit over 60 friends who’ve prepared a pretty tablescape for our viewing pleasure! Our Tablescape Hostess, Susan, has arranged this party for us to enjoy, so please stop by her place and say hello…and then stop by and visit the rest of the guests!

As I promised last week…I am sharing some pics (click on pics to enlarge) from the PINK Tea© Event that I co-hosted last weekend. The PINK Tea© Event is a special ladies tea party that I created to provide women with a special time to Renew, Refresh and Reconnect. The purpose of the event is to pamper, motivate and inspire those who attend as well as to challenge them to make small shifts in their everyday routines in order to make meaningful changes in their lives.PINK Tea© Event!

This particular group of women has requested this be an annual event…this was our 3rd annual PINK Tea© Event! It was met with as much anticipation and excitement as the very first tea and anticipation is already building for next years

The theme this year was The Power of Your Words. The centerpiece was a spiral wire “tree” from which positive words hung on pretty tags made from scrapbooking papers. Words such as Beautiful, Strong, Creative, Talented, Awesome, Thoughtful, Graceful, Fabulous, Amazing

…all of which describe women!
Along with the words there were beautiful butterflies, symbolizing new life…giving our words new life! Roses filled in the rest of the space, symbolizing beauty…the beauty of women!

Our menu included 4 savory items and 4 sweets….

Chicken salad croissants (a repeat request), Black & Blue Tea sandwiches (roast beef and blue cheese spread), Shrimp Bruschetta, and Asparagus-tip Tea Sandwiches (recipe from my friend Sheri at Tea at Primrose Hill)

Chocolate Eclair Cordials, Berry Scones with Lemon Curd and Devonshire Cream, Coconut Cream Strawberries, and Chocolate Coconut-filled Cupcakes.

Our tea selections were Rose Melange, Raspberry Herbal and Yummie Berry.

We ended the 2 1/2 hour PINK Tea© Party with PINK Champagne Floats and lots of hugs and smiles!
