Happy Thursday!

We have had some glorious weather days this week!

As I write this post I am sitting in the breakfast room looking onto the deck with all the pretty pink and white flowers we’ve added, listening to the birds singing away…..aaaaaahh, I LOVE this time of year!

One of the things I love most about this time of year is eating dinner on the deck and last night we did just that for the first time this season!
I was soooo excited that it was nice enough to set the table outside!

….with these pretty little square plates I found at Ross, and one of my favorite hydrangea blue tablecloths….

and my all time favorite yellow floral napkins….the stage is set for a casually elegant dinner on the deck!

The menu?

Well…I’m sure you’re expecting to see my Signature Steak Salad or my Fabulous Shrimp in White Wine and Butter Sauce over angel hair pasta with a side salad…or some other truly delectable dish….PLEASE…try to control your excitement and envy when you see what I prepared…
Something you will see me eating MAYBE only once or twice a year…

Yes!!! Beans and Hot Dogs….you heard me, beans and hot dogs….now guess whose choice this would be for dinner??? Yes, the Prince, you’re right!

Now, I ask you…have you ever seen beans and hot dogs look so elegant?
I didn’t think so!
