The month of May is so pretty…flowers are blooming everywhere! Where I live most of the trees have their leaves fully out and it is usually warm enough to plant annuals, at least in planters if not quite yet in the ground.
This past weekend my Prince did just that for me…I’ll share pics next time!

This time I wanted to share my last bouquet of LILACS…aren’t they beautiful!
Our lilacs bloomed early this year and they never seem to last long enough! I put them in a hot chocolate pot with flowers in my favorite colors haindpainted on it.
This was one of my most favorite “temporary” tablescapes…the lilacs just passed way too quickly! The lavender candle on the other hand will last me quite awhile…as will the pretty silver footed bowl my Prince surprised me with!
And don’t you just love this squarish Limoge bowl one of my dear friends blessed me with for Christmas? I’m always looking for different ways to use it…this seems to work for now!
