Welcome to my “Perfectly Pink Pizza Picnic”! This is a perfect example of how to infuse Elegance and Romance into Everyday Life!

This was actually our dinner table this evening. Prince Charming and I each had a very busy day today and neither of us felt like cooking… and…there were no left over leftovers to serve up. Prince Charming suggested he pick up a pizza on the way home….”Oh, YES!” I answered…”that would be great! I’ll make the salad!”

Soooo…I made the salad and set the “table”…the coffee table that is! I decided we’d eat our casual dinner in elegant picnic style. I grabbed a pink plaid tablecloth, some pretty pink and yellow striped napkins and a few candles. In barely 15 minutes the table was set, the salad made and the candles lit.
I even had time to take plenty of pics before the Prince arrived with the pizza!

Here’s an aerial view of our “picnic table” with my “everyday” dishes by Nikko in a pattern called Precious. I LOVE these dishes…I’ve had them for many, many years and I love them as much today as when I spotted them in…you know where! I went from one location to another until I had 12 plates…I do that a lot…I don’t typically buy my dishes in “sets” since I love to mix and match. I did find 4 bowls…haven’t seen these dishes there since!

One way I justify eating pizza for dinner is to make a nice salad to have along with it!

Aaaaaaahhhh! Prince Charming has finally arrived with the pizza! Notice we do not eat the same kind of pizza and…do you see what he added to his salad??? the only leftover to be found…a little bit of steak from our steak salads last night…he’s gotta have his MEAT! His pizza choice…hamburg, bacon and cheese; mine…pepperoni and pineapple!
