I LOVE Tablescape Thursday, don’t you?! I’m looking forward to seeing all the LOVE-ly tablescapes that you girls have put together for this Valentine week!

I LOVE to host a couples dinner for Valentine’s Day! It is a nice time to reconnect with friends that may have been too booked up during the holidays to get together.

My table this year is embellished with a beautiful cherub centerpiece…hmmmm…looks like he’s gotten into my jewelry again! I’ve added a sheer lavender tablerunner with beaded flowers and edging. On the matelasse tablecloth I’ve sprinkled some hearts, hugs and kisses confetti.

I’ve used my lavender-ish napkins with some faux diamond flower napkin rings…and my adorable little lavender sequined and beaded birds…aren’t they dear?!

I’ve used my glitzy bejeweled green chargers, topped with my Bernadotte Ivory china by Baum Brothers (Alisa at Carolina Panache has these, too). Then I set out one of my newest additions…the floral plates I found this past weekend at an antique co-op…I am in LOVE with these! (Sheila says that’s allowed!) I found 8 of them…on the bottom it says Simpsons Potters LTD, Cobridge England, Ambassador Ware…boy would I love to find some more of these! Aren’t they beautiful???? You know how I LOVE floral patterns!

Now…look closely…(you can click on the pic to enlarge)…at the flatware…see how it doesn’t match?!!! For quite some time I’ve wanted to have a “set” of vintage silver -plated flatware of various patterns…a few weeks ago when I was out “treasure hunting” (I’m sorry, I forgot to bring my camera…then I forgot to take pics when I got home before I put everything away!) and treasures I did find!!! This is one of them…I found several patterns of vintage flatware at great prices…so I couldn’t resist, I just had to indulge and get some…isn’t it fabulous?! I had sooo much fun!
